Hello
to all, I wanted to send a letter out to pay
tribute and memorial to my beloved little
dog Dixie.
Dixie was put to rest yesterday with the help
of the wonderful and dear friend/sister of
mine Elyse (Momie) Kent, Lil Lexie Poo, Miss
Maryloo, and the staff of Dr. Kents, who I
will forever be grateful to.
Momie
helped me make this difficult decision, and
in the end was rightfully the thing to do
for my angel who fought so hard for so long
to stay to serve me with her love and affection.
Dixie had developed seizures and Momie was
able to provide her to me a precious 6 months
longer where each day I was able to borrow
a day at a time to share Dixies light and
appreciate her gifts.
Dixie was put to rest in her red and white
ruffle check bathing suit handed to God like
any good bodybuilder would want to be ready
to pose.
She provided me with someone to love, watch
over and care for even when relationships
have come and gone, she gave much more to
me then I could have ever given to her, so
much joy and so much laughter, for those of
you who knew her you know she was quite the
sassy personality.
A few weeks ago, she was sitting on a bench
watching all the local apartment dogs play,
one particular dog runs the community, barking
and bossy, well my little Dixie jumped off
the bench and chased the other dog into its
owners apartment and under their bed…that’s
my girl all ready at any time to throw down..lol.
She will be so missed but I am just glad she
can finally rest. She worked hard to provide
me a lifetime of love.
Her remains will be sent to me cremated and
anyone who knows me well already knows that
Dixie and I will be mixed at the end of my
life to go onto eternity together as a team.
